What You'll Do
As an Inside Sales & Lead Generation Specialist, you'll play a key role in driving equipment sales and supporting our outside sales team by identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities. You'll build relationships with customers, manage inbound inquiries, and proactively generate leads that contribute to SEI's continued growth.
In this role, you will:
- Sell, lease, and rent new, used, rental, and JCB compact equipment.
- Generate and qualify new sales leads through outbound prospecting and customer outreach.
- Manage inbound phone calls, emails, and marketing-generated leads.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Research prospective customers using data mining tools and other resources.
- Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and social media initiatives.
- Coordinate qualified opportunities with outside sales representatives.
- Track customer interactions, sales activity, and lead conversion metrics.
- Support company sales and profitability goals through consistent customer engagement and follow-up.

Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in inside sales, customer service, lead generation, or a related role.
- Experience making outbound sales or prospecting calls.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in construction, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or industrial equipment sales.
- Experience using CRM platforms, data mining tools, or social media for lead generation.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and qualifying leads for outside sales teams.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and lead generation strategies.
