Accountabilities:

This role is responsible for defining and elevating the Brand Intelligence practice, ensuring it delivers deep behavioral and cultural insight that directly informs business strategy and client outcomes. It combines leadership, methodological innovation, and cross-functional influence across the organization.

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of researchers and analysts, setting high standards for rigor, synthesis, and strategic relevance while supporting career growth and capability building.
  • Advance discovery methodologies by designing new approaches to behavioral research, leveraging contextual data, journey-based insights, and AI-enabled analysis to uncover deeper human truth.
  • Translate complex signals into strategic narratives by connecting behavioral data, cultural context, and business needs into actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Activate intelligence across client organizations by embedding insights into decision-making frameworks, dashboards, and strategic advisory engagements at the executive level.
  • Integrate brand intelligence across strategy, creative, CX, and technical teams to ensure insight informs every stage of ideation and execution.
  • Represent the practice externally through thought leadership, including speaking engagements, publications, and industry influence.
Requirements

This role requires a senior leader with extensive experience in research, strategy, and intelligence-driven consulting, with a strong ability to connect human behavior to commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate combines analytical depth with executive presence and cross-functional leadership capability.

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, research, intelligence, or insights leadership roles, including building and scaling teams or practices.
  • Strong grounding in behavioral sciences, cultural analysis, anthropology, psychology, sociology, or related disciplines applied to business strategy.
  • Proven ability to translate research, data, and cultural signals into clear strategic recommendations that drive measurable business impact.
  • Experience operating at the executive level, with confidence engaging C-suite stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to design structured research approaches, frame hypotheses, and synthesize complex information into actionable insight.
  • Hands-on or experimental experience with AI-enabled research workflows, synthesis tools, or automation applied to insight generation.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills across strategy, creative, product, and technology environments.
  • Proven track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams in dynamic, client-facing organizations.
