Senior Accountant - Accountant II

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting work experience as an Accountant.
- Accounting degree.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and multi-task and work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
Specific Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly financial statements and detail schedules in supporting the account balances.
- Monthly closing procedures includes posting all necessary journal entries, preparing bank reconciliations, analyzing account balances, updating schedules, etc.
- Prepares Board Reports and supporting schedules including operating budgets and capital expenditure requests based on input from the appropriate managers.
- Generates A/R invoices, provide coding for A/P invoices and other cash receipts.
- Prepare detail information to the tax department at year-end for each entity as requested.
- Provides detail information to outside audit firm as requested.
- Ensures standards and procedures for reporting and documentation.
- Coordinates project management activities with activities of business unit(s).
- Prepare all necessary sales and property tax returns.
- Assist the Controller and other managers on special projects as necessary.
- Assist other members of the accounting staff as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
