The Remediation Technician is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to build a career in the restoration industry. This position works alongside experienced technicians and leaders to learn the fundamentals of mold remediation, demolition, and job site operations.

The technician supports day-to-day activities on job sites while developing the skills necessary to perform restoration work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Job Site Tasks

Perform assigned restoration tasks as directed by technicians or supervisorsAssist with job site setup, cleanup, and maintaining an organized work area

SOP & Safety Compliance

Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelinesMaintain a safe and clean work environment at all times

Demolition Assistance

Perform basic demolition tasks under supervision using hand and power toolsRemove debris and prepare affected areas for restoration work

Equipment Handling

Load and unload tools, equipment, and materialsAssist with setting up and breaking down drying equipment as instructed

Warehouse & Vehicle Maintenance

Clean and organize company vehicles, tools, and equipmentEnsure all materials are properly stored and ready for use

Customer Presence

Maintain a professional appearance and respectful behavior on job sitesFollow direction when interacting with customers

Attendance & Work Habits

Arrive on time and ready to work each dayFollow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and demonstrate a willingness to learn

High school diploma or equivalent requiredStrong willingness to learn and grow within the restoration industryPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetBasic knowledge or interest in construction, plumbing, or restoration preferredValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningStrong customer service skills with a desire to help people in difficult situationsIICRC certification is a plus (not required)Ability to participate in an on-call rotationStrong work ethic with a desire to learn, improve, and grow within the company

Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 pounds or more regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periodsComfortable working in environments with water, moisture, dust, and debrisAbility to work in confined spaces and varying temperaturesCapable of operating tools, equipment, and machinery safelyAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
