Location: Henderson, NV 89015

Schedule: Full-time, 6:30am-3:30pm

Compensation: $16.50 Hourly

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Operator to support battery manufacturing and assembly operations. This position is responsible for assembling various battery components, operating production equipment and tools, monitoring automated machinery, and helping maintain a smooth and efficient production flow.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires standing for extended periods and continually lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble battery components, including loading cells, aligning connectors, soldering, hand crimping, ultrasonic welding, and resistance spot welding.
2. Operate hand and power tools, including glue guns and hot air guns.
3. Read and follow work instructions, workmanship criteria, and technical drawings.
4. Monitor automation machines to ensure proper operation and production flow.
5. Identify, report, and assist with resolving issues involving rejected parts.
6. Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures.
7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training.
8. Cross-train in different departments and production areas as needed.
9. Maintain an organized and safe work area.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
3. Technical and mechanical aptitude preferred.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Ability to adapt to changing production needs and rotate between different tasks.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7. Basic computer skills and proficiency with office software.
8. Ability to follow policies, procedures, and production deadlines.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Willingness to work overtime as required.
11. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
12. Must be able to continually lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

1. Prolonged standing or sitting while performing assembly and production tasks.
2. Repetitive hand and wrist movements while assembling components and operating tools.
3. Frequent lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
5. Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves.
