Quality & Compliance Specialist
Regal Research is looking for a Quality & Compliance Specialist to support customer-facing quality communication, AS9100 compliance, corrective actions, and quality-system improvement.
This role is ideal for someone personable, confident, organized, and technically capable. The right person does not need to be a senior engineer, but should have exposure to manufacturing, quality systems, and AS9100 or similar requirements.
This position will work with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Inspection, Program Management, and customers to help resolve quality issues, support compliance, improve documentation, and ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and followed through internally.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company professionally in customer-facing quality communication
- Support SCARs, nonconformances, RMAs, DMRs, and corrective actions
- Help maintain AS9100-related processes, documentation, and training
- Review and communicate customer quality requirements internally
- Work with internal teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
- Support audit readiness, procedure updates, and quality-system improvements
- Learn and apply GD&T, customer specifications, and manufacturing requirements
- Help turn customer concerns into clear internal actions
Required:
- Experience in quality, compliance, manufacturing, inspection, engineering support, or a technical customer-facing role
- Exposure to AS9100, ISO 9001, aerospace quality, or similar quality systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with customers and internal teams
- Organized and able to follow issues through to completion
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn GD&T, specifications, and manufacturing requirements
- Confident enough to take ownership, ask questions, and move issues forward
Preferred:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, machining, fabrication, assembly, or precision manufacturing
- Experience with SCARs, corrective actions, nonconformances, RMAs, or DMRs
- Basic understanding of drawings, specs, inspection reports, or quality clauses
- Experience supporting audits, training, documentation, or quality-system improvements
- Familiarity with ERP systems or quality management systems
