Job Description

Content Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Manager based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, client leadership, and hands-on writing, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across complex industries. You will be responsible for shaping content direction from the earliest strategic conversations through to final execution, ensuring every piece aligns with business goals, audience needs, and brand voice. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring both creative agility and structured thinking. You will work directly with clients to translate objectives into clear content strategies, while also producing and refining high-quality copy across multiple formats and channels. This is a client-facing role where your ability to explain, defend, and evolve ideas is just as important as your writing craft. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional specialists in SEO, paid media, design, and development to deliver cohesive, performance-driven content campaigns.

Accountabilities:

Lead end-to-end content strategy and execution for client accounts, ensuring all deliverables align with business objectives, audience insights, brand voice, and regulatory considerations.

  • Lead client discussions to define goals, guide decisions, and present strategic content recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Own the content lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and strategic alignment across all outputs.
  • Conduct audience, industry, and competitive research to inform both strategic direction and day-to-day writing.
  • Write, edit, and refine content across multiple formats including articles, web pages, emails, social media, and digital ads.
  • Develop toolkits, templates, and content guidelines to support scalable and consistent delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SEO, paid media, design, and development to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Manage client feedback cycles, ensuring alignment and maintaining strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve content quality, processes, and strategic impact.
Requirements:

Bring strong experience in content strategy, writing, and client-facing leadership, ideally within an agency or fast-moving digital environment.

  • 7+ years of experience in content strategy, writing, or editorial roles, including client-facing agency work.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and high-impact content across formats.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and explaining strategic rationale.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client workstreams with strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Deep understanding of brand voice, audience strategy, and content performance principles.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in marketing, design, and technical environments.
  • Familiarity with SEO, AEO, and evolving AI-driven search best practices is a strong plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to enhance content workflows without compromising quality or editorial standards.
  • Experience with UX writing principles and tools such as Figma is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting client needs and priorities.
Benefits:
  • 100% employer-paid health insurance with dental and vision options
  • Unlimited PTO for salaried employees plus additional mental wellness days
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Permanent remote work flexibility
  • Summer Fridays with early office closure and seasonal Friday flexibility
  • Monthly wellness stipend and employee appreciation perks
  • One-time home office equipment reimbursement
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Monthly team bonding and collaborative culture initiatives
  • Opportunity to work in a creative, international, and fast-growing agency environment
