Role Summary
As a Maintenance Technician (Electrical), Responsible for performing a variety of duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the interior and exterior of all buildings, the grounds, and major equipment are maintained 24/7, and that all work carried out complies with all government regulations and corporate policies pertaining to the operation of the Brachytherapy business.
Key Responsibilities
The position will involve operation, maintenance and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment including but not limited to the following:
- chilled water-cooling units (Chillers)
- air handlers
- pumps
- exhaust fans
- variable frequency/speed electrical drives,
- Very strong background in 480/208-120 VAC electrical circuit breakers/switchgear
- fire alarm systems
- electronic door card key access systems
- cooling tower water treatment systems
- Strong carpentry skills and power tool operation
- Able to wear a respirator
- Construction
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; refrigeration, electrical, or similar licenses preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and electronic control systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong background in electrical power supply systems.
- Ability to wear a respirator and work in radioactive environments.
- Proficiency with carpentry, construction, and power tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Reliability and conscientiousness.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly.
- Willingness to be on-call, work nights/weekends, and overtime as needed.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Overtime and flexible scheduling as workload dictates
