The role of the Operations Assistant will be to air the VP of Cask & Cork in pricing, purchasing, database maintenance and customer upkeep. This is predominantly a remote work position with in-person work as a backup to the Warehouse Manager when OoO. Typical hours are M-F, 8 AM to 2 or 3 PM.
Major Goals and Responsibilities:

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities. Incumbent will be required to satisfactorily perform all essential functions of the job.
- Prepare, maintain and submit monthly and quarterly price and item submissions to national grocery chains.
- Track and monitor vintage rollovers, price and liaise with salesforce on sell outs.
- Weekly purchasing to maintain adequate inventory and stock in all locations.
- Track and monitor closeouts, price and send to sales team.
- Supplier data reporting to national platforms.
- Supplier data request processing
- Maintain and improve Cask & Cork inventory system
- Set up new suppliers and new items and collaborate with the VP on pricing.
- Track, record and compile results from incentive programs.
- Maintain and prepare statewide price grids and product books.
- Set up new and existing suppliers with VIP reporting.
- Be a secondary point of contact for the sales team
- Periodically fill in on site in the Rapid City warehouse if/when a team member is away
Skills/Abilities:
- Strict attention to detail, organization, and professionalism
- Personable, honest, and trustworthy
- Excellent time management: ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, energetic, and hardworking
- Flexible in daily schedule and able to manage multiple interruptions
- Basic Microsoft Office programs, Excel is a must
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of all education and professional backgrounds
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Strong Computer skills especially with Excel.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s of Business Administration desired but not required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Clean driving record
- Ability to climb stairs and other physical requirements during deliveries
Compensation: $20 / hour, 20-28 hours weekly
