The North Carolina Education Lottery is looking to hire an Assistant Regional Manager. This role will be responsible for the direct supervision and monitoring of the daily sales and operations of the sales staff based out of the Charlotte office. Successful candidates will have experience managing route sales and highly motivated staff in a fast-moving, task-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Sales Representatives
• Provide training and guidance as necessary to staff and Lottery Retailers
• Conduct territory evaluations and performance reviews of Sales Representatives
• Implement sales strategies developed by Sales Management; Work closely with Regional Managers to complete any company initiatives
• Assume duties of Regional Manager in their absence
• Facilitate sales meetings
• Maintain the regional warehouse inventory/organization
• Aid in recruiting new retailers
• Perform additional tasks within the scope of this classification as necessary

Requirements:

• One to three years of route sales experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Proven sales leadership skills, is customer-driven, and has demonstrated ability to improve sales
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & iPad applications
• Effective oral, written & interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, and demonstrate effective time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Frequent driving required
• Irregular hours required on occasion
• Valid Class C Driver's License and good driving record
• Notary Public is preferred
• Knowledge of lottery equipment & software preferred

Hiring Rate: $ 72,035 – 78,000 DOE plus incentive (this position will be filled at or near the posted range)
