The Software Engineer III will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications while contributing to technical decisions and improving engineering practices. This role requires ownership, collaboration, and a strong focus on delivering reliable solutions that create customer value.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web-based applications using modern full-stack technologies.
• Build and enhance product features that support payroll and accounting workflows for business users.
• Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture conversations to improve system quality and maintainability.
• Write clean, well-tested, documented code following engineering best practices.
• Contribute to improving development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment practices.
• Support production systems by troubleshooting issues and participating in on-call rotations when required.
• Help improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and overall user experience.
• Communicate progress, technical challenges, risks, and solutions clearly with stakeholders.
• Continuously learn new technologies and share knowledge with the engineering team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.js.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework.
• Experience working with databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and building transactional systems.
• Understanding of microservice architectures and cloud infrastructure, such as AWS.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles focused on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Experience contributing to API integrations and event-driven architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial technology or other regulated industries is beneficial.
• Experience working with large-scale or high-transaction systems is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
