The Senior Program Manager will lead enterprise-level finance transformation programs from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology capabilities, and operational outcomes. This role requires strong ownership of portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across areas such as Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, payroll, taxation, revenue operations, treasury, accounting, and financial planning processes.
- Partner with senior leaders across finance, accounting, tax, procurement, legal, technology, operations, and people teams to define transformation strategies and future operating models.
- Facilitate workshops to redesign processes, policies, data structures, technology solutions, controls, and organizational workflows.
- Establish governance frameworks, manage risks and dependencies, track delivery progress, and provide executive-level reporting on transformation portfolios.
- Improve portfolio management practices by partnering with technology teams to enhance reporting, tracking, automation, and delivery visibility.
- Identify and implement opportunities using AI, automation, analytics, workflow tools, and emerging technologies to improve business efficiency.
- Drive change management activities, including communication plans, stakeholder alignment, adoption strategies, and organizational readiness.
- Remove execution barriers by coordinating teams, accelerating decisions, and ensuring programs deliver measurable business value.
- Promote continuous improvement practices and ensure transformation initiatives remain aligned with operational standards and business priorities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced transformation leader with a strong background in finance operations, enterprise programs, and cross-functional change management. You should be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and connecting business strategy with technology-enabled solutions.
- 8+ years of experience managing complex transformation initiatives across finance, accounting, tax, revenue, procurement, treasury, people operations, or shared services.
- Experience in management consulting, advisory, transformation, or enterprise program leadership environments is highly preferred.
- Proven success leading large-scale transformation programs involving operating model redesign, process optimization, governance, and organizational change.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, payroll, equity, tax, revenue, treasury, and financial planning.
- Experience facilitating executive workshops, strategy sessions, and decision-making forums with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to connect processes, data, technology, and people to achieve business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms, reporting tools, workflow automation solutions, AI tools, and portfolio management platforms.
- Ability to use AI and automation technologies to improve workflows, accelerate decision-making, and support transformation goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations and transformation updates.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a bias toward measurable impact.
- Natural collaborator who builds trust, drives accountability, and influences teams across organizational boundaries.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in business, finance, technology, organizational development, or a related field.
- Experience in technology or digital-first organizations.
- Knowledge of operating model design, Lean, Six Sigma, design thinking, or process excellence methodologies.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled workflows, digital assistants, intelligent automation, or agent-based solutions.
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or similar transformation credentials.
