Accountabilities:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytical solutions that optimize mobile marketing performance, improve measurement capabilities, and support strategic growth decisions. You will work across large datasets, experimentation frameworks, and business models to identify opportunities and communicate recommendations effectively.

  • Build and maintain marketing analytics frameworks that connect platform data, attribution data, mobile measurement partner (MMP) data, and internal business metrics in a privacy-conscious environment.
  • Develop and manage performance dashboards using BI tools to provide visibility into acquisition efficiency, user quality, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Analyze campaign, ad set, creative, and audience performance metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and optimization recommendations.
  • Conduct cohort analysis to understand retention, monetization, lifetime value, payback periods, and acquisition quality across different user segments and channels.
  • Partner with marketing and finance teams to evaluate spend efficiency, profitability scenarios, channel incrementality, and budget allocation opportunities.
  • Design and analyze experiments, including geo-lift tests, audience holdouts, and other causal measurement approaches to determine true marketing impact.
  • Support audience strategy and retargeting initiatives by improving segmentation, user lists, and activation strategies.
  • Evaluate marketplace dynamics, seasonality, pricing, and demand patterns to separate marketing performance changes from broader business factors.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Stay current with developments in mobile privacy, attribution technologies, and measurement practices to continuously improve analytics capabilities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in marketing analytics, mobile data science, experimentation, and growth strategy, with the ability to combine technical depth with business understanding.

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth data science, mobile analytics, or a related analytical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience working in a mobile-first environment with knowledge of mobile attribution, Apple ATT, MMPs, and privacy-focused measurement approaches.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing paid marketing channels such as Meta, TikTok, Reddit, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to evaluate acquisition and retargeting performance using metrics such as LTV, CAC, ROAS, payback periods, and profitability models.
  • Experience designing and interpreting marketing experiments, incrementality studies, and causal analysis.
  • Strong statistical foundation with experience in experimentation, cohort analysis, and causal inference.
  • Experience analyzing creative performance and developing strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in Python or R and SQL, with experience using BI tools such as Tableau or Sigma.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Measurement Partners such as Adjust or AppsFlyer.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical insights clearly to business stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling, ticketing, marketplaces, live events, consumer applications, or highly seasonal businesses is a plus.
