Accountabilities

Lead the design and development of civil engineering solutions for site grading, stormwater management, utility systems, roads, parking areas, and industrial site infrastructure.
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, construction documentation, and technical deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related engineering software.
Conduct site investigations, field measurements, surveying support, 3D laser scanning, and data collection to inform project design and execution.
Develop material take-offs, construction cost estimates, and technical analyses to support project planning and budgeting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and architecture teams to deliver high-quality projects while mentoring junior engineers when appropriate.
Manage multiple concurrent assignments, ensuring technical accuracy, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
4–10 years of professional civil engineering experience, preferably within consulting, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months of employment.
Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly preferred.
Knowledge of site development, grading, utilities, stormwater management, surveying, and industrial infrastructure design.
Familiarity with topographic surveying, 3D laser scanning, or related field technologies is considered an asset.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for local site visits with occasional overnight travel.
