What You Will Do:
- Advanced Diagnostics: Serve as a go-to expert for complex electrical, mechanical, drivability, and computer diagnostic issues.
- Fleet Repair & Maintenance: Oversee and execute high-quality repairs on light-duty commercial trucks, vans, and specialty fleet equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Perform inspections on critical repairs to ensure total fleet safety and compliance.
- Technical Mentorship: Act as a senior resource in the bay, helping guide and develop apprentice technicians.
- Efficiency Leader: Maintain a high standard of efficiency and accuracy, setting the benchmark for craftsmanship.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience: 8+ years of professional automotive, light-duty truck, or commercial fleet repair experience.
- Diagnostic Mastery: Strong proficiency with advanced scan tools, scope testing, and electrical schematics.
- Tools: Ownership of a comprehensive, professional-grade toolset and rolling cabinet.
- Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Current ASE certifications are highly preferred (and rewarded).
