Role Overview

The Officer – Global Payments is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of ACE Money Transfer's global payment infrastructure by monitoring payment performance, coordinating operational issues, analyzing transaction trends, and ensuring seamless payment processing across multiple payment gateways and international corridors.
The role requires close collaboration with internal departments, banking partners, payment service providers (PSPs), and technology teams to maintain high payment success rates, resolve operational issues, and contribute to continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities

Global Payment Operations

• Monitor payment gateway performance across global payment channels and corridors.
• Track payment acceptance rates, transaction success rates, system availability, and processing performance.
• Identify operational issues affecting payment processing and escalate them promptly.
• Maintain accurate operational records and payment monitoring dashboards.

Transaction Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Investigate failed or delayed transactions to determine root causes.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Technology, Customer Support, Compliance, and Finance to resolve payment issues efficiently.
• Monitor incident tickets and ensure timely closure of operational issues.
• Support testing and validation of payment-related fixes before deployment.

Payment Partner Coordination

• Coordinate with banks, payment service providers (PSPs), and external partners regarding payment processing issues.
• Assist with onboarding and operational support for new payment partners and alternative payment methods (APMs).
• Maintain payment partner documentation, operational contacts, and integration records.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new payment integrations and enhancements.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering payment performance, transaction trends, gateway availability, decline reasons, and operational KPIs.
• Analyze transaction data to identify recurring issues, payment trends, and corridor-specific performance.
• Support management with operational insights and performance reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with departmental standards.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Assist in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and operational guidelines.
• Support initiatives related to payment routing optimization, automation, and operational excellence.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects within the Global Payments function.

Compliance & Operational Risk

• Support transaction monitoring activities in collaboration with Compliance and AML teams.
• Maintain complete audit trails for payment activities, operational changes, and partner communications.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, operational controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Escalate suspicious or unusual payment activities according to established procedures.

Professional Development

• Develop a strong understanding of global payment systems, payment gateways, banking operations, and digital payment technologies.
