As a Reliability Analyst, you will play a key role in helping industrial organizations improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance strategies through advanced condition monitoring techniques. This position combines technical expertise with analytical problem-solving, allowing you to assess machinery health and provide actionable recommendations that enhance operational reliability. Working closely with maintenance teams and customer stakeholders, you will leverage vibration analysis and predictive maintenance technologies to identify potential issues before they impact production. - Perform routine condition monitoring activities on industrial machinery using vibration analysis equipment and related diagnostic tools.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze vibration data to identify equipment performance trends, emerging faults, and potential reliability risks.
- Prepare detailed technical reports outlining findings, machine health assessments, and recommended corrective or preventive maintenance actions.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and operations teams to support maintenance planning, equipment repairs, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with established safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay current with developments in predictive maintenance technologies, vibration analysis methodologies, and industry trends.
- Support customer engagement efforts by presenting technical solutions, explaining findings, and demonstrating relevant reliability services and technologies when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and asset performance.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
- Mechanical or electrical background with a strong understanding of industrial machinery and equipment systems.
- Certification as a Vibration Analyst, including ISO Category II certification or equivalent practical expertise.
- Proven experience performing vibration analysis, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or related reliability services.
- Proficiency with vibration analysis software, diagnostic instruments, and condition monitoring technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Experience with additional condition monitoring technologies such as infrared thermography, ultrasound inspection, motion amplification, or balancing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other business software applications.
- Ability to work independently in field environments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with travel requirements exceeding 50%.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $74,000.
