Senior Social Media Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Social Media Manager in United States.

This role is responsible for defining and scaling a sophisticated, multi-platform social media strategy across leading and emerging channels, shaping how a fast-growing tech brand shows up in culture, product conversations, and industry discourse. You will act as both strategist and hands-on creator, building channel-specific approaches that reflect audience behavior while maintaining a cohesive brand voice. The role blends editorial thinking, creative execution, and data-driven optimization, with a strong emphasis on experimentation and AI-enabled workflows. You will collaborate closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Content, and Events teams to ensure social media is fully integrated into product launches, campaigns, and real-time cultural moments. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable acting as the face and voice of a modern digital brand. You will help evolve not only content output, but also the systems and tools behind how social media is produced and scaled.

Accountabilities:

You will own the end-to-end social media strategy and execution, ensuring content is high-impact, platform-native, and aligned with broader marketing and product goals. You will be responsible for shaping both the creative direction and operational systems that power social media at scale.

  • Design and lead an overarching social media strategy with differentiated approaches for each platform, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging channels
  • Define content frameworks, voice, cadence, and platform investment strategy, continuously refining based on performance and trends
  • Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content across formats, including copy, video, and visual storytelling assets
  • Own the social content calendar end-to-end, ensuring alignment with product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments
  • Build and optimize AI-driven workflows and agentic systems to improve efficiency in content creation, research, and performance tracking
  • Translate insights from analytics, trends, and internal stakeholders into scalable content pillars and narratives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, creative, events, and external partners to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels
  • Engage actively with communities, manage audience interactions, and strengthen brand presence through real-time participation
  • Track, analyze, and optimize key performance metrics across platforms to continuously improve engagement and impact
  • A/B test content formats, messaging, and distribution strategies to enhance performance over time
Requirements:

You bring strong experience in social media strategy and content creation, ideally within fast-paced tech or B2B environments, with a proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on. You are highly experimental, data-informed, and comfortable using AI tools to enhance creative output and operational efficiency.

  • 5–7 years of experience in social media marketing, content strategy, or digital brand roles
  • Proven ability to design and execute multi-platform social media strategies with distinct channel approaches
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills across short-form and long-form content formats
  • Comfortable creating content across formats, including video, on-camera presentations, and live or reactive content
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Insights, Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategy
  • Deep familiarity with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into daily workflows for content creation and optimization
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong awareness of industry trends, cultural moments, and competitive positioning in tech and AI spaces
  • Preferred: experience in high-growth tech, B2B SaaS, or AI-driven product environments
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $100 to $120 USD
  • Fully remote work within the United States
  • Opportunity to shape and scale social strategy for a high-growth, global tech product
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI tools and experimentation in content workflows
  • Collaborative, cross-functional environment with strong creative ownership
  • Opportunity to act as a visible brand voice across major social platforms
  • High autonomy with direct impact on brand perception and engagement
