Painter-Wall Coverer in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at Forrest General Hospital

Job Summary:

Performs various painting and wall covering assignments ensuring methods of application are achieved to produce a desired finished product. Reads blueprints and finish schedules from project drawings, demonstrates a general knowledge of painting and wall covering installation methods. Performs other duties as assigned. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs

Performance Expectations:

• Demonstrates the ability to properly prep and paint walls and trim.
• Demonstrates the ability to properly install wall covering materials.

Qualifications:

Education/Skills:

High school diploma or GED required.

Work Experience:

Two years of work experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure - DUE UPON HIRE

• Valid Driver's License

• Maintain a Good Driving Record

Mental Demands:

Ability to follow directions, cooperate with others, and demonstrate initiative.
