This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technology Vendor Manager based in the United States.
This is a senior role within a technology enablement function focused on scaling operational excellence across a complex vendor ecosystem. You will oversee the full lifecycle of strategic technology partnerships, from evaluation and onboarding through renewal or termination. The role spans diverse technologies supporting digital products, infrastructure, gaming, hospitality, retail, and other mission-critical operations. You will act as a key connector between technology leaders, business stakeholders, legal, sourcing, finance, and external vendors. Success requires strong organization, analytical thinking, relationship management, and the ability to create structure in a fast-moving environment. Your work will improve governance, transparency, accountability, risk management, and decision-making across the technology portfolio.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of technology vendors, including evaluation, onboarding, ongoing governance, renewal, and termination activities.
- Maintain a centralized and accurate inventory of technology vendors, ownership assignments, contracts, milestones, obligations, and governance records.
- Coordinate contract reviews, renewals, approvals, invoicing-related activities, and governance processes across technology, legal, sourcing, finance, and business teams.
- Facilitate vendor business reviews, stakeholder discussions, and governance meetings, ensuring appropriate participants are engaged and agreed actions are tracked through completion.
- Support vendor evaluations, RFPs, competitive assessments, sourcing initiatives, and market analysis to help inform technology and procurement decisions.
- Maintain visibility into vendor performance, spend, contractual obligations, risks, service expectations, and upcoming renewal requirements.
- Develop and improve reporting, governance frameworks, operational processes, and tracking mechanisms that increase accountability and transparency.
- Build trusted, productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology partners.
- Coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple teams, priorities, deadlines, and dependencies while ensuring consistent follow-through.
- Identify opportunities to improve vendor management processes, controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as required.
- 8+ years of experience in vendor management, vendor governance, procurement operations, contract management, PMO, business operations, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing technology vendor portfolios and coordinating stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management, contract administration, procurement processes, governance, and operational controls.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with legal, sourcing, finance, business, technology, and other cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and demanding timelines.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and follow-through skills, with a strong ability to create accountability and drive execution.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders and executives.
- Experience creating operational processes, reporting structures, dashboards, and governance frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with enterprise software, infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, gaming, hospitality, retail, or other technology vendors is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting organizations in regulated industries such as gaming, sports betting, financial services, healthcare, or telecommunications is a plus.
- Familiarity with RFPs, vendor evaluations, competitive market assessments, and strategic sourcing is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, ServiceNow, Jira, or Confluence is an advantage.
- PMP, CPSM, ITIL, or related professional certification is a plus.
- Competitive annual salary range of $110,000–$150,000 USD.
