This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer (Founding Team) based in India.

As a founding product designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping an AI-powered platform transforming how people create and experience video storytelling. You will own product design end to end, from user flows and prototypes to polished interfaces, interactions, and design systems. Working closely with founders, engineers, and growth teams, you will have significant influence over product direction and user experience. The role combines strong product thinking with high visual and interaction design standards. You will identify friction across user journeys and turn complex creative workflows into intuitive experiences. As an early design hire, you will also help establish the team's creative culture and raise the overall design quality bar. • Own product design end to end, covering user flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI, interactions, and design systems.
• Advocate for users and bring strong product thinking to product decisions, balancing user needs with business and technical considerations.
• Partner closely with founders, engineering, and growth teams to shape product strategy and deliver thoughtful experiences.
• Build, maintain, and evolve a cohesive design system across the product.
• Identify friction points throughout user journeys and develop solutions that make workflows simpler, clearer, and more engaging.
• Create polished, intentional experiences that maintain a consistently high level of visual and interaction quality.
• Establish and raise the creative and design quality bar across the team.
• Explore emerging AI and creative technologies to identify new opportunities for product experiences.
• Work with external creative talent when needed to support ambitious design and product initiatives.

• 3+ years of professional experience as a product designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products.
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills, with a strong understanding of user experience and product design principles.
• Proven ability to own design projects from early concepts and user flows through prototyping, execution, and final delivery.
• Strong product thinking and the confidence to advocate for users and influence product decisions.
• Expert-level proficiency with Figma and strong capabilities in UI design, prototyping, and design systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong design taste, and a high standard for visual quality.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with founders, engineers, growth teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Curious about AI and enthusiastic about experimenting with emerging AI and creative tools.
• Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable operating with significant ownership in an early-stage environment.
• Experience building or shipping a side project is a plus.
• Familiarity with creative tools such as Rive, Spline, Paper, or similar platforms is a plus.
