About the Role:

The IT Project Manager Consultant plays a critical role in leading and delivering complex information technology projects within diverse organizational environments. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and resource allocation to execution, monitoring, and successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. The consultant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical staff, business analysts, and executive leadership, to manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks effectively. By applying industry best practices and agile methodologies, the IT Project Manager Consultant ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Ultimately, this role drives organizational success by enabling technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects in a consulting or corporate environment.
• Proven expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Experience working with cloud technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure projects.
• Prior consulting experience with diverse clients in the information technology sector.
• Advanced degrees such as an MBA or Master’s in Information Systems.
• Knowledge in projects related to MES implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions to address deviations from the plan.
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting to senior management and clients on project health and milestones.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within agreed parameters.
• Facilitate change management processes and ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer upon project closure.
