Job Overview:
The Manager plans and implements Physical Therapy treatment in coordination with the multidisciplinary team. Clinically supervises physical therapists and physical therapist assistants and assist director to manage the daily clinical operations of the Physical Therapy Department.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
- NJ Physical Therapy license
- 3-5 years of clinical-based experience
- BLS certification through AHA
Preferred:
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- 2 years of supervisor experience
- APATA member
- CI certification by APTA
- Certification in LEAN and Crucial Conversations
Certification/License Requirements :
- NJ Physical Therapy license
- AHA BLS Certification
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time
- 40 hours/week
Essential Functions:
- Implements goals, plans, objectives nd budget for the Physical Therapy Department
- Demonstrates, acts out strategies that provide a high level of patient, physician or employee satisfaction
- Maintains departmental compliance with regulatory agencies
- Develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive on-going quality assessment and improvement plan
- Reviews with individual staff members their performance evaluations in accordance with SBHCS and NBIMC policies and standards
- Responsible for the retention, recruitment, hiring, disciplinary activities of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist assistants
- Supervises all billing procedures
