SOC Dispatcher
Location: Hybrid - Miramar, Florida
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) as a Dispatch Analyst. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a foundational understanding of IT systems. You will play a key role in triaging and coordinating responses to security alerts and incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and triage security alerts, ticket queues, and incident reports
- Dispatch tickets and alerts to appropriate teams and follow up on resolution progress
- Document all activities clearly and accurately in the ticketing system
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and external clients
- Escalate high-priority issues according to defined protocols
- Assist in daily SOC operations and provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Basic understanding of IT concepts (networking, systems, cybersecurity terminology, etc.)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems or help desk tools is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within a SOC environment
Preferred:
- Experience in a help desk, service desk, or IT support role (internships and school projects count)
- IT certifications (Security+ and BLT1) are a required
