As a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, you will help design, build, and maintain the systems and platforms that enable engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software. You will own infrastructure solutions end-to-end while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity and platform capabilities.
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain software and infrastructure solutions using modern engineering practices and continuous delivery workflows.
- Design scalable infrastructure abstractions and improve the systems that support application development and production operations.
- Contribute to technical specifications, architecture decisions, testing strategies, and rollout plans for new initiatives.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, automation workflows, and internal engineering platforms.
- Partner with engineering teams and internal stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability, security, and performance across services.
- Improve engineering workflows by creating tools and platforms that increase developer productivity.
- Mentor and support teammates through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate across teams to influence the future direction of engineering systems and infrastructure strategy.
The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with strong infrastructure expertise and a passion for building scalable platforms. You should be comfortable working across backend systems, cloud environments, and developer tooling while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building and maintaining production systems.
- Strong experience developing with Python in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Terraform, and cloud-based deployment systems.
- Familiarity with frontend ecosystems and frontend infrastructure tools.
- Experience designing, testing, and maintaining clean, scalable, and reliable code.
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams and business functions.
- Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and support team growth.
- Experience with modern DevOps practices, automation, monitoring, and production reliability is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage complex technical challenges, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be located in an eligible U.S. state for remote employment: California, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington.
- Competitive base salary range of $133,000 - $267,000 USD depending on location, experience, and market factors.
