The Senior eDiscovery Application Support Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support for a range of eDiscovery applications, ensuring application reliability, performance, and effective resolution of client issues. This role combines application expertise, infrastructure knowledge, customer communication, and operational improvement.
- Provide frontend and backend support for enterprise eDiscovery applications, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Support platforms such as Relativity, NUIX, Reveal, CloudNine, iPro, Brainspace, and other related technologies.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and appropriately route technical issues to the correct teams when additional expertise is required.
- Maintain and monitor client application environments to ensure stability, availability, and performance.
- Develop deep knowledge of supported software platforms and understand how they align with client business requirements.
- Participate in application upgrade activities, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
- Create, update, and maintain internal technical documentation, processes, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers throughout incident lifecycles, providing updates on progress, changes, and planned maintenance.
- Manage service requests and incidents through ticketing systems, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Track daily workload activities, schedules, time entries, and expenses according to operational processes.
- Maintain relevant certifications and stay current with evolving software, hardware, and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate has strong experience supporting eDiscovery applications and enterprise technology environments. They should demonstrate technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) framework.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Relativity, NUIX, Reveal, and/or other eDiscovery platforms.
- Experience supporting additional eDiscovery applications such as CloudNine LAW, Brainspace, or iPro is a plus.
- Relativity Infrastructure Specialist certification and/or Relativity Certified Administrator certification preferred.
- Additional training or certifications in Relativity, LAW, Brainspace, or NUIX are highly valued.
- Experience with ticket management, issue tracking, and change management processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications and infrastructure environments.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and incidents in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business awareness and understanding of how technology supports client objectives.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% for client engagements.
- Nice-to-have experience with Windows Server Administration, scripting and automation, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Clustering, and server, storage, or networking hardware.
