This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager based in India.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects within a dynamic life sciences and technology environment.
This role is responsible for managing timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations from project initiation through completion.
You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across complex initiatives.
The position offers the opportunity to work on impactful solutions that support innovation within clinical research and regulatory technology.
You will collaborate with business teams, technical experts, and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Accountabilities:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering medium-scale projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards, timelines, and financial expectations.

  • Take ownership of project definition, planning, execution, and successful completion while managing scope, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain realistic project plans, ensuring accurate progress tracking and regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and corrective actions to support successful delivery.
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies, including predictive, Agile, and iterative approaches depending on project requirements.
  • Lead project teams effectively, providing guidance and taking action to address performance challenges or delivery risks.
  • Manage change requests, ensuring project deliverables are completed within agreed budgets, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate release and deployment activities, including documentation, activity tracking, and early-life support when required.
  • Analyze, document, and implement approved changes while ensuring business continuity and stakeholder alignment.
  • Monitor project financials, maintain financial records, support budgeting activities, and contribute to cost optimization initiatives.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies, manage communications, resolve issues, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of project delivery practices.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to technology and life sciences projects.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with experience in technology-driven environments, particularly within life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or equivalent project-related experience.
  • Proven professional experience in project management or a similar delivery-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable frameworks.
  • Experience managing enterprise technology projects, including cloud-based solutions and regulatory platforms.
  • Understanding of life sciences, clinical research, or regulatory environments and their impact on technology adoption.
  • Experience working with stakeholder communication tools and reporting project progress effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking, solve complex problems, and implement effective strategies.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices, UML, object-oriented concepts, data modelling, process modelling, or related development methodologies is a plus.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
