Licensed Practical Nurse at Valley County Health System – Ord, Nebraska

Valley County Health System has an excellent career opportunity available for a Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN to join our Acute Care department working full or part-time. This LPN position is for the night shift working from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. including rotating weekends.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include utilizing nursing skills for patient care, performing and maintaining documentation and promoting and ensuring patient and staff safety.

REQUIREMENTS: • Current Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure for the State of Nebraska • Provide safe and appropriate care within the standards of Nursing • Experience with computers (Word, Excel, etc.) • LPN experience is preferred but not required • Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated leadership skills
