Job Title: Fitness Center Babysitting Coordinator
Part Time: 10-20 hours weekly
Wage: $16-$18

Job Summary:
The Babysitting Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Neal Fitness Center’s child care services, ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children while their parents utilize the facility. This role includes managing babysitting staff, scheduling, maintaining safety and cleaning protocols, and coordinating activities that promote a fun and secure atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Management: Oversee babysitting staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.

  • Childcare Services: Ensure the well-being and safety of children by implementing and enforcing appropriate childcare policies.

  • Program Development: Plan and organize age-appropriate activities to engage children in a fun and educational manner.

  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and hazard-free childcare area while adhering to health and safety standards.

  • Parent Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns and ensuring excellent customer service.

  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate attendance logs, emergency contact information, and incident reports as needed.

  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with fitness center rules, including child drop-off and pick-up procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a similar supervisory role.

  • CPR and First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and child development best practices.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time opportunity with potential for growth to full time, morning, evening and weekend availability required.

  • Competitive hourly wage or salary, based on experience.
