Job Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on financial performance and variances.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Familiarity with financial analysis techniques and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Occasional lifting of documents and office supplies, up to 20 pounds.
- Visual acuity to read and analyze financial documents and reports.
- Ability to perform tasks in a standard office environment with minimal distractions.
