Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. This leadership role is vital to ensuring the delivery of outstanding care, regulatory compliance, and a culture of excellence across our home health operations.
The ideal candidate is an inspiring clinical leader with a strong foundation in home health care, outstanding communication skills, and a dedication to patient-centered service.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of skilled nursing services in compliance with state and federal regulations

Supervise, mentor, and support the nursing and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Ensure all clinical documentation meets agency standards and regulatory guidelines

Participate in the hiring, training, and ongoing development of nursing personnel

Conduct case conferences, audits, and quality assurance activities
-
Serve as a liaison between the administrative team, referral sources, physicians, and families

Monitor infection control practices and support continuous improvement initiatives

Remain current with industry best practices and ensure policies and procedures reflect those standards
Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a home health care leadership or supervisory role

In-depth knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid home health regulations and clinical standards

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team

Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation practices
