The Role

As a Truck Driver for The Jankovich Company, you’ll ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of petroleum products to our customers across Southern California while upholding our commitment to safety, compliance, and exceptional service.

As a member of the team, you will:
  • Safely load, transport, and unload petroleum and lubricant products in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer equipment meets company quality standards and DOT regulations.
  • Accurately complete and submit delivery tickets, inspection reports, and required documentation.
  • Deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Unload products from the trailer and deliver items into designated customer receiving areas while performing damage control checks on items.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in and around your cab and trailer to ensure a clean, organized workspace.
  • Secure equipment at the end of each shift and complete all required reports and documentation.
  • Participate in safety meetings and ongoing driver training sessions.
We require that you have:
  • A current, valid Class A CDL with Hazmat (HME), Tanker, and Doubles Endorsements, and a clean MVR for the past three years.
  • Current DOT medical certification and TWIC clearance (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to meet all applicable state and federal licensing and certification requirements.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of commercial driving experience preferred; petroleum hauling experience a plus.
  • Ability to climb ladders and access elevated areas on trailers and tanks safely.
  • Ability to lift, move, and stack product of varying sizes and weights using liftgates or other equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to meet delivery schedules.
  • Must pass a post-offer drug test, background check, and road test.
  • Ongoing participation in the company’s DOT-mandated random drug and alcohol testing program.
