Description:

We are currently hiring for a full time Float Nurse (RN) within the Outpatient Clinics department here at Aspen Valley Health.

Work Shift:

Days - 8 Hour

Compensation Range:

$34.82 - $55.71Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!Eligible new hires may qualify for a sign on bonus up to $10,000.

The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred.
  • 2 years of PCU/ICU/CCU experience preferred.
  • 2 years of ED experience preferred.
  • Emergency Nurses Association - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:

The Outpatient Clinics Float Nurse provides professional nursing care and performs administrative support functions in Aspen Valley Hospital outpatient clinics including, but not limited to, Cardiology, Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pain, Primary Care, Rheumatology , Afterhours Care, and Snowmass Clinic. Must be competent to provide care as the primary nurse working under minimal supervision and will be expected to remain flexible to float between all outpatients clinics.
