• The Therapy technician works under direct supervision of the therapists and/or therapist assistants. • Prepares patients and equipment for treatment • Oversees general exercises that do not require skilled therapy • Orders/maintains/restocks supplies for the department • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the treatment areas • Assists therapists and assistants with patient care including but not limited to positioning, toileting, application of splints/casts, etc. • Acts as extension of therapist by providing hands on assistance during therapeutic activities • Assists in additional task/duties as instructed by therapist, assistants and /or management • Completion of competencies: vital signs, medical red flags/change in status, pain and restraints
