This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Editor & Community Manager, Virtual Reali-Tea based in Brazil.

This opportunity is ideal for a creative, digitally savvy storyteller with a genuine passion for reality television and entertainment culture. You will help shape the social media presence and community engagement of a dedicated reality TV platform, transforming breaking news, viral moments, fan theories, and celebrity stories into compelling multimedia content. Working at the intersection of social media, editorial production, and entertainment journalism, you will identify emerging trends and create platform-specific content that drives engagement and audience growth. The role combines content strategy, hands-on production, community management, and occasional on-camera appearances. You will also collaborate with hosts, journalists, and video teams to turn interviews and cultural moments into shareable stories. This is an exciting opportunity to influence entertainment conversations and connect with a highly engaged reality TV audience.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with social media and editorial teams to develop and execute platform-specific content strategies that increase engagement, audience growth, and brand visibility.

  • Pitch, conceptualize, and produce timely content covering breaking entertainment news, viral moments, reality TV developments, and broader cultural conversations.

  • Monitor platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and Threads to identify trending discussions, fan theories, and emerging storylines.

  • Quickly transform breaking moments and online conversations into engaging social content, explainers, and multimedia stories.

  • Build and maintain the platform's voice and community by responding to comments and direct messages and actively engaging with reality TV fans.

  • Work with show hosts to identify compelling interview highlights and turn them into multimedia content and stories suitable for broader coverage.

  • Prepare questions and cover red carpets, premieres, and entertainment events, producing engaging interviews, stories, and video content.

  • Appear on camera when needed to provide commentary, explainers, and quick reactions to breaking reality TV news.

  • Coordinate with editorial, video, and social media teams to ensure content is optimized for each platform and designed for sharing.

  • Write trending articles, video scripts, and other editorial content while maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand voice.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of and genuine enthusiasm for reality television across major networks and streaming platforms, including Bravo, Netflix, and Peacock.

  • Strong awareness of social media trends, online communities, fan conversations, and the cultural context behind viral moments.

  • Excellent multimedia storytelling and content production skills, with the ability to create engaging visuals, videos, and commentary.

  • Strong editorial judgment and an instinct for identifying compelling headlines, memorable clips, and shareable content opportunities.

  • Ability to produce accurate, polished copy and video scripts under tight deadlines.

  • Creative thinking, curiosity, and the ability to anticipate emerging trends and stay ahead of entertainment conversations.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across editorial, news, SEO, video, and social media teams.

  • Comfort engaging directly with online communities and representing an entertainment brand across social platforms.

Additional experience that would be an advantage:

  • Previous experience covering entertainment, celebrity news, or reality television.

  • Established contacts and relationships within the reality TV industry, including publicists, talent, and other entertainment professionals.

  • Experience conducting interviews, covering entertainment events, or appearing on camera.

Benefits:

  • Annual base salary range of $75,000–$85,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
