About the Role:

The Retail Counter customer service position is essential for ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient operations within our facility. This role involves managing customer interactions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The successful candidate will be responsible for problem-solving on the spot, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring that all products are well-stocked and organized. Additionally, the Counter will play a key role in team collaboration, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting sales initiatives. Ultimately, this position is vital for driving customer satisfaction and operational success in our Rumford location.

Minimum | Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a customer service position.
• Experience in fast-paced retail store or food service environments.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a professional manner, addressing their needs and inquiries.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register.
• Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve customer service.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery.
