OPEN POSITION:
Position: Director of The Heartlands
Department: The Heartlands
Main Location: Marlette, MI
Hours: Full Time. Days. Full Benefits.
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Director of The Heartlands. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of experience working in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care facility, or a combination of education and experience.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Experience with the elderly and those with dementia preferred.
- Must possess strong leadership skills.
- In depth understanding of community development and operations; demonstrated ability to initiate and lead start up and operational efforts.
- Knowledge of assisted living and memory care principles and federal/state licensing and regulations.
- Knowledge of computer PC operations and software e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The director is responsible for the community’s daily operations, employee relations, resident and resident family engagement and connection, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Creates and executes a strategy and develops the team to become a preferred senior living community in the market, while growing revenue and profitability. Creates an inclusive community culture that provides high quality resident experiences and care and engages residents, families, and employees. The director will work in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Aspire Rural Health System policies and procedures.
