Job Description

Help Build What's Next in Advanced Technology.

At Sciperio, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible through science, engineering, and advanced manufacturing. From next-generation electronics and aerospace technology to biomedical innovations, our team brings together multiple disciplines to turn ambitious ideas into real-world solutions.

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Advanced Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Orlando, Florida. If you enjoy working with precision equipment, solving technical challenges, and being part of a team developing innovative technology, this could be a great opportunity for you.

You don't need to know our equipment on day one. We're looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and pride in producing quality work.

What You'll Do

As an Advanced Manufacturing Technician, you'll work alongside engineers, scientists, and other technical professionals to support printed electronics, microdispensing, and advanced manufacturing projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate precision microdispensing and direct-write manufacturing equipment, including nScrypt SmartPump-based platforms and multi-tool systems.

  • Prepare, handle, and track specialized materials, including conductive inks, pastes, adhesives, and polymers.

  • Perform substrate preparation, mechanical assembly, curing, and post-processing operations using specialized laboratory equipment.

  • Conduct electrical testing, hand-soldering, and component-level rework using digital multimeters, four-point probes, and other test equipment.

  • Inspect and measure components using calipers, micrometers, optical microscopes, and other precision measurement tools.

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration checks.

  • Maintain accurate production records, test results, and process documentation while following established quality and safety procedures.

  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support research, development, prototyping, and manufacturing activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, Manufacturing Technology, Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent hands-on technical experience.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including experience using hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.

  • Experience with hand-soldering and basic electrical testing, including continuity and resistance measurements.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and written procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and quality standards.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with engineering and technical teams.

Even Better If You Have

  • Experience with additive manufacturing, microdispensing, printed electronics, or surface-mount technology (SMT).

  • IPC soldering certification, such as J-STD-001, or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Experience preparing and handling functional inks, adhesives, or other specialized manufacturing materials.

  • Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and precision measurement equipment.

  • Experience working in laboratory, cleanroom, or controlled manufacturing environments.

Why Sciperio?

At Sciperio, you'll be part of a team working on technologies with applications across aerospace, defense, electronics, and biomedical engineering.

This isn't a traditional manufacturing environment where every day looks the same. You'll have opportunities to work on a variety of technical projects, learn specialized manufacturing processes, and collaborate with professionals across multiple engineering and scientific disciplines.

Whether you're a recent technical graduate or someone looking to expand your hands-on manufacturing experience, Sciperio offers the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to meaningful innovation.

Additional Information

  • Full-time, on-site position based in Orlando, Florida.

  • Work is performed in laboratory, high-bay manufacturing, and controlled work environments.

  • Position requires handling small components and precision equipment, close visual inspection, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • This position may involve access to export-controlled technology subject to ITAR and EAR regulations. Employment is subject to applicable export-control requirements and any necessary government authorizations.
