REGISTERED NURSE in Auburn , New York at Auburn Community Hospital

Responsible to the Practice Manager and Physician for performing assigned duties and responsibilities in primary care office specializing in hematology/oncology. All nurses are assigned to a specific service, this role is vital to ensure quality patient care. Plans and provides nursing care that will be consistent with Organizational policies and procedures and with current professional standards and practices. Maintains accurate reports and clinical records. Provides patient and family teaching when appropriate.

Qualifications:
Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current license to practice in New York State. Must take and pass the chemo infusion certification course. Must have IV insertion and infusion experience.
