Job Description
The Community Support Specialist Supervisor monitors the service delivery of a team of up to 8 Community Support Specialists (CSS) and/or Peer Support Specialists/Family Support Providers to ensure the highest standard of care is provided while meeting certification and regulatory standards.
An individual meeting the qualifications of a Community Support Specialist (CSS) with an additional three years of experience providing community support services to individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders in accordance with the community support key service functions. Experience is specific to the adult or child/youth/adolescent population the individual will be supervising.
Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work or other mental health field.
