Accounting Specialist - STX Remote at NEXT Oncology – San Antonio, Texas

Position Description: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization including Accounts Payables, daily banking activity, and month end close entries in conformity with GAAP.

• Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from an accredited university is preferred, otherwise a High School Diploma plus 5 years experience is required.
• One year experience in Accounts Payable preferred.
• Great Plains experience preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.

• Process accounts payable through PaperSave workflow, code, and enter invoices into Great Plains.
• Responsible for the Accounts Payable inbox check emails throughout the day and respond to all inquires in a timely manner.
• Update banking information daily.
• Submit ACH payments and apply related entries in Great Plains.
• Post payments received from customers to appropriate line items on sales invoices.
