Summary:

Create a memorable guest experience by providing fast, friendly service and quality products. This role is responsible for directing an efficient workflow, managing the POS system and cash drawer, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage in conversation each guest who enters the store
• Learn guest names and drink preferences
• Welcome questions and seek opportunities to educate on our products
• Suggestively sell gift cards and additional products that may benefit the guest
• Solicit order, ring up sale, and provide correct change in a timely fashion
• Manage cash drawer: verify starting cash, count down and complete end-of- shift paperwork, and place shift deposit in safe
• Make and pour drip brew, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other related products according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines
• Deliver drinks in fewer than three minutes and identify drink upon delivery
• Operate all store equipment: bean grinder, espresso machine, and kitchen display screen
• Optimize workflow efficiency by batching like drinks together and restocking workstations, food, and merchandise
• Maintain condiment stations
• Maintain cleanliness of barista area, guest area, counters, workstations, and bathrooms
• Thank each guest for coming to Scooter's Coffee
