HOUSEKEEPER at Edison47, Inc. – TACOMA, Washington

This position is full-time, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may be subject to change.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Manage all aspects of cleanliness for the community

Perform full cleaning for apartment turns in a timely manner to property/company specifications

Clean ovens, stovetops, behind appliances and bathrooms

Maintain cleanliness standards for the office, elevator, front entrance and common areas

Perform grounds care including picking up trash, sorting trash/recyclables and moving trash/recyclables

Operate small machinery such as a vacuum, pressure washer, leaf blower, etc.

Assist with seasonal jobs such as snow removal

Other duties as assigned

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be willing to comply with safety practices

Self-starter who can work with minimal or no supervision

Attention to detail and completion of tasks in a timely manner

Must be able to lift 50 pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when needed

Job involves climbing stairs, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended period of time

Knowledge and use of typical cleaning products

Strong customer service skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience with cleaning work strongly preferred

May be required to help with coverage at sister properties

COMPENSATION:

Competitive wage of $22/hour, depending on experience
