We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our healthcare providers in delivering excellent care to patients. Your responsibilities will include clinical and administrative tasks, such as taking patient histories, assisting with exams, and managing patient records. Key Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for examinationsTake and document patient vital signs, histories, and symptomsAssist healthcare providers during patient exams and proceduresPerform basic lab tests, injections, and administer medications as directedEnsure exam rooms are stocked and prepared for patient visitsSchedule appointments, process referrals, and assist with patient check-ins/check-outsMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR systemProvide patient education on treatments, medications, and aftercare instructionsAssist with insurance verifications as needed Qualifications: Completion of a certified Medical Assistant programCurrent certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationExperience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred but not requiredProficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: Health benefits packagePaid time off and holidaysSupportive and team-oriented work environment
