Coconut's Ambassador / Cashier at Coconut's Fish Cafe – Lanse, Michigan

A Coconut's Ambassador serves as the face, voice, and spirit of our Family restaurant. Often the first employee our customers interact with, a Coconut's Ambassador must be pleasant, cheery, and knowledgeable about our restaurant.

This valuable team member is responsible for guest service and register duties and performs a wide range of activities to ensure that the restaurant meets applicable health standards and remains clean, neat, and orderly at all times.

• Greet and take guest orders in a friendly manner.
• Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
• Responsible for having a balanced cash drawer at the end of a shift.
• Responsible for providing exceptional guest service to each and every guest.
• Responsible for properly presenting the Coconut's Fish Cafe menu offerings to the guest.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the cashier's station.
• Responsible for sweeping and mopping the dining area.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the soda machine.
• Ring up orders in an efficient and expeditious manner - being careful not to rush the guest.
• Transact sales.
• Maintain professionalism.
• Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
• Adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Previous work experience with a POS system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 60 pounds.
