Customer Service Associate 1 in West Lafayette, Indiana at RTI Surgical Inc

Primary Function

The person in this position will provide customer service support for OEM and direct customers and related duties as determined by the CBI quality system. This is a hybrid position. The hours would be 10:30-7pm Monday through Friday.

Essential Job Function/Duties

• Answer incoming calls and emails from customers. Provide necessary information or transfer customer to correct function who can provide requested information.
• Enter, edit, and cancel customer orders using NetSuite. Provide customer with order acknowledgement including estimated ship date.
• Address GHX or NetSuite order errors to ensure order is processed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Process returns against orders in NetSuite.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform data entry duties in various computer databases.
• Assist Management with other corporate duties when required.
• Mailing, faxing, copying, and filing documents.
• Apply the understanding of Cook Quality Systems Requirements in executing job duties.

Minimum Work Experience/Educational Requirements

• High school diploma and office experience.
• Excellent communication skills that include being pleasant and empathetic.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in using computers for word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Able to handle multiple and changing priorities along with fluctuations in work load.
• Experience in basic office equipment; i.e., fax, copier, computer, printers, etc.
• Able to work in a team environment and with various people.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product.
• Physical demands are typical of an office and classroom environment.
