Job Profile Summary
The Specialist, Regulatory Compliance, oversees the company’s legal and regulatory compliance efforts. They support the Compliance Team in implementing the company’s compliance program related to grants and government programs, including grants, USF, High Cost, and Low-Income programs (e.g., state or federal grants, Lifeline, ACP, E-Rate, ECF, CAF II, etc.).
Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to)
- Prepare funding and subsidy requests by compiling and analyzing data from multiple sources, and prepare related financial reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and administer compliance filings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders with a solutions-focused approach, including ensuring adherence to compliance.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders on regulatory-related projects, including data analysis and validation, and assisting in the development of related processes and reporting.
- Assist in the drafting and development of processes and related collateral to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the company’s compliance program.
- Research and review federal and state regulations, draft summaries of relevant tasks for internal stakeholders; track related stakeholder compliance implementation to project timelines, etc., prepare and provide updates as needed.
- Administer audit responses by collecting and summarizing data and reporting from internal stakeholders, tracking timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare forms/filings and maintain calendar of filing deadlines and regulatory deliverables.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Years Experience 2-4 Yrs
- Minimum Education: Associate's degree

- Experience with accounting, finance, data analysis, drafting processes and explaining complex information in a meaningful way.
- Familiarity with telecommunication networks a plus (wireless, wireline, cable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively under deadline.
- Intermediate Excel & MS Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree is desired, but not a requirement.
- Experience working in/with rural communities.
- Experience working on federal grants.
