Infusion RN at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

Summary:
This position will involve working in the Cancer Center Oncology/Hematology infusion room. This individual will be responsible for administering infusions and injections, documenting relevant patient information, triaging patient phone calls, and other duties that are specific to this position will be assigned. This candidate will provide ongoing patient education regarding their disease process and current treatment plan. Will work collaboratively with the oncologists, pharmacist, primary care physician, co-workers and other ancillary departments to provide safe, holistic, compassionate, and quality patient care.

This position will require five days per week during training period and once trained will transition to four 10 hours shifts.

Requirements:
Minimum of one year oncology experience desired
Outpatient clinic experience helpful
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Missouri RN license in good standing
BLS certified
ACLS certified
Computer, Meditech, & EMR proficient
Must obtain ONS chemotherapy certification within six months of hire

*Starting Range:$29.79-$37.24
