CT Technologist Aid at York Hospital – York, Maine

York Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist Aid to join our Team!

The CT Technologist Aid supports the smooth operation of the CT Department. Some essential job duties include:

• Will Guide patients to/from the CT department. Transporting non-ambulatory patients if necessary
• Assists with transferring patients on/off the CT table, using transfer devices as necessary
• Assists with room turn-over in between patient exams
• Performs clerical duties including scanning documents to PACS and assisting with imaging record requests
• Prepares and delivers oral contrast to in-patients as ordered by provider with technologist oversight
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment for patients and coworkers including daily cleaning of CT equipment
• Helps monitor and re-stock inventory
• Performs preliminary patient screening interviews as well as preliminary exam explanations (answers any questions within scope)

Requirements: We require a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification which can be obtained within one month of hire.
