The Physician will:
1. Be a responsible and highly qualified provider who can deliver exceptional medical care to the pediatric community patients, focusing on examination, disease diagnosis, and treatment. In addition to providing medical treatment, you will also play a vital role in preventive healthcare and promoting healthy habits, development monitoring, immunization tracking and administration. You will also ease children with chronic conditions and offer support and advice to parents about children's health, safety, nutrition, and fitness needs,. You will also assure the continuity of care for those patients assigned.
2. Provide professional services provided shall be consistent with the requirements in place at the time for all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory entities (including, without limitation, the joint commission).
3. The referral of and coordination of care with any required specialty services as needed
4. Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Family health center from time to time
5. Participate in community driven outreach programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Family Health Center from time to time
7. Provide and perform such other services as may be reasonably requested by the Center
8. Participate in the oversight of medical, and NP students
Education and Experience requirements
1. Medical Degree (MD or DO)
2. Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrics
3. NYS Medical License
The Physician will:
1. Provide professional services to the Hospital’s patient population (including but not limited to assessment, treatment and management of care) and assure continuity of care for those patients assigned to Physician. The professional services provided shall be consistent with the requirements in place at the time for all applicable federal, state and local regulatory entities (including, without limitation, The Joint Commission). 2. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, work with designated Hospital administrators to provide input into the Practice Site’s budgets, capital expenditures, strategic planning and marketing. 3. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist with the selection, supervision and evaluation of the Practice Site’s staff. 4. As may be reasonably required by the Hospital, assist the Hospital in recruitment of additional physicians to the area served by the Hospital. 5. Participate in utilization management, quality improvement, patient satisfaction programs and committees as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital. 6. Participate in such teaching or community benefit programs or other activities as may be reasonably requested by the Hospital from time to time. 7. Participate in after hours and on call coverage as may be indicated for patient care and practice needs. 8. Provide and perform such other services as may reasonably be requested by the Hospital from time to time.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed by the Physician.
